Circular Point (CP) was present at the exciting kick-off meeting of City Water Circles for local stakeholders: NGOs, technical and policy experts and municipalities from the urban areas of Budapest. The project’s goal is to assist municipalities in improving their outdated urban water infrastructure systems through applying a circular economy approach. The proposed solutions focus on the use of non-conventional water resources, urban rainwater harvesting and greywater recovery measures. As well as establishing a digital learning platform that could be a knowledge base for urban circular water management.

Project manager Viktor Merker also discussed one of the project’s pilot cases based in Budapest, Zugló municipality. Where they plan to reuse the harvested rain and grey water in a local kindergarten.
